Join Us
Elder and Deacons
Elders and Board of Deacons are servants and leaders of ministries who support the work of the church and service representing Christ through the action of the Holy Spirit. Their ministry of service can be seen in providing assistance to those in need, visiting the sick in hospitals and nursing homes, expressing compassion towards the poor, and distribution of gifts for benevolence and mission.
Disciple Men Ministry
FSCC Disciple Men Ministry work together ministering the unique needs of men in the church. Their combined mission is to empower men to discover and fulfill their potential as servants of God. They gather to teach, support, fellowship and care for one another, so that they may lift the church through grace, power and wisdom. This, in turn, strengthens the witness of the total ministry of the church.
Disciple Women Ministry
Disciples Women’s Ministry of FSCC is a conduit for diverse connections empowering each woman to find her voice and live out her call. The Disciples Women welcomes all to the table as Christ has welcomed us. They join together to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education, and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church. DWM seek to be a network of women committed to the justice-seeking, compassion-focused mission of Jesus Christ.
Trustees
Board of Trustees function as Christian stewards of property God has entrusted to the congregation. This includes supervising and maintaining both the physical property of the congregation and gifts made to the congregation. Our Trustees have a genuine interest in responding to the hopes and concerns of people in the community and show willingness to partner with community interests.
FSCC Gospel Chorus
The ministry objectives of FSCC Adult Choirs are to humbly offer the best of time, talents and service to God and His people; to identify and perform various genres of scared music for Sunday worship and special occasions. Through music we believe Hymns bring solace to the sad, assurance to the perplexed, faith to the doubter. Our choirs act as a vehicle of praise and worship as we glorify God through song.
New Beginnings Committee
The New Beginnings Committee directs our church in embracing our Affirmation of Faith’s Statement “we accept our mission of witness and service” and focus on four main areas that best reflect our mission and vision in the areas of Education, Evangelism, Health and Social Action. Participants contribute and volunteer for those efforts that express their great passion and skill.
Usher Board
As Christian stewards, the FSCC Usher Board strives to provide effective service by helping to maintain order and reverence of the worship service so that God is glorified, Jesus Christ is exalted and the Holy Spirit is acknowledged. The Ushers Ministry is a vital part of the worship service. We do our best to ensure the congregations enjoys a comfortable and positive worship experience and work with other ministries to conduct a smooth and an orderly service.
Culinary Committee
Our Culinary Committee assist the church and leadership to provide refreshments or meals prepared and served by those who are adequately trained in areas including health and safety. “Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, now I give you everything.” Gen. 9:3
